Randy J. Nebel - President - KapStone Kraft Paper Corporation

Randy Nebel was appointed as Vice President and General Manager of the Company and President of the Company’s Mill Division in August 2013. Previously, Mr. Nebel served as President of Longview Fibre from 2008 to July 2013 and Vice President of Mill Operations and Chief Operating Officer for Longview Fibre from 2008 to 2009. During his time at Longview Fibre he led the transformation of that company, achieving world class safety performance, excellent environmental performance and top tier financial performance. From 1997 to 2007 he served in various roles at Weyerhaeuser Company, including Vice President and Mill Manager. He was a member of the board of directors of the American Forest and Paper Association. He is a member of the board of the National Association of Manufacturers, and the Cowlitz County Economic Development Committee. Mr. Nebel has over 35 years of experience in the paper and packaging industry.

He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Montana State University.

Tony Hobson - Mill Manager - Graphic Packaging International (GPI)

Tony Hobson is the Vice President and Resident Manager of the Graphic Packaging International (GPI) West Monroe, Louisiana mill. Tony graduated from North Carolina State University in 1992 with bachelor’s degrees in both Pulp and Paper Science and Chemical Engineering. Prior to joining GPI at their Macon, Georgia mill in 2004, Tony held jobs of increasing responsibility with Packaging Corporation of America, MeadWestvaco, and International Paper. In 2007, Tony was selected to manage GPI’s large multi-product mill in West Monroe where he, his wife and two daughters have enjoyed residing for the past eight years.



Matthew A. Szymanski - Vice President/General Manager, Green Bay Packaging - Arkansas Kraft Division

Matt Szymanski is the vice president/general manager of Green Bay Packaging’s –Arkansas Kraft Division since 2004 as well as the Company's Pinecrest Slitting Division since 2014. Szymanski has over 25 years in chemical/process engineering, technical sales, operations management, and general management. Prior to his work at Arkansas Kraft, Szymanski spent the majority of his career at Green Bay Packaging’s 100% recycled, 100% closed water loop mill in Green Bay, WI. Szymanski held the position of general manager of the Green Bay facility prior to moving to Arkansas. Szymanski grew up in Pulaski, a small Wisconsin town, on a family farm. Szymanski and his wife of 20 years, Marie, now reside in Morrilton Arkansas and Pulaski Wisconsin with their three children; Mark age 18, Francis age 16, and Evelyn age 14.

Szymanski holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry and a master’s degree in business administration, both from the University of Wisconsin system. Szymanski has been honored with several local and national paper industry awards and scholarships and is an active member of the Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry (TAPPI/ PIMA).

Szymanski is an instrument rated private pilot and believes very strongly in the value of general aviation for both travel and personal development.

 

Debbie Jones - Vice President, Equity Research, Packaging, Paper & Forest Products, Deutsche Bank

• Debbie A. Jones is the lead Paper & Packaging analyst at Deutsche Bank. In addition to her US coverage, she also covers three European stocks including co-coverage of Smurfit Kappa Group (SKG). She was recently (2014) voted as a Rising Star of Wall Street by Institutional Investor for the Paper and Packaging sector. Prior to becoming lead analyst, she spent several years as part of DB's Paper & Packaging franchise, helping the team to earn multiple top-three Institutional Investor and Financial Times (Starmine) rankings. Ms. Jones first joined Deutsche in 2006 as part of the bank's Graduate Associate Training Program. Ms. Jones obtained her MBA from New York University (Stern) and earned her BA from Claremont McKenna College with a dual major in Psychology and Economics.
